CWC 2011

Doing it God’s way: serving God with the real me

Our lives are so busy and our world so complex that true freedom seems impossible.  The ‘real me’ seems lost in it all.  How can I ever be the person God meant me to be?  Join us as we consider how to serve God, His way – as the real you, with the gifts, personalities and families that He gave you.

Our speaker is Naomi Reed, a gifted writer, speaker and performer.  After studying physiotherapy with her husband, Darren, they served in Nepal with INF for six years.  Now back in Australia, Naomi has published four books covering various topics, including their experiences as a family in Nepal, the impact of personality on missionary service, and a series of dramatic monologues called ‘The Promise’.  You can read more about Naomi at her website, ww.naomireed.info.

CWC 2011 is on Saturday 7 May from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Doors open at 9 am, with a coffee cart and bookstall available.  We look forward to seeing you there!

You may remember that Susan Ravenhall was going to be our speaker for 2011.  She’ll be our speaker in 2012 instead, as her second baby is due shortly after our conference in May.  Our congratulations to Susan and her growing family!  ‘The beautiful life’ is our theme in 2012, as we focus our attention on Proverbs 31.

Are you wondering why there is an upside-down bit in the middle of the top image?  It’s because it is the outside of our brochure.  When we print and fold the brochure, that middle panel ends up being the right way around.  If you would like a copy of this image with everything the right way up, contact us.
